Following the ensemble’s unforgettable debut last season with Beethoven’s Opus 130 and the Grosse Fuge, the Juilliard String Quartet returns to perform another work from the composer’s final years. In their new program, the four musicians combine the A-minor Quartet of 1825 with Shostakovich’s Seventh String Quartet, written in 1960, and a new piece they commissioned from American violinist and composer Michelle Ross.
